Free Trial Access to SAP Solution manager 7.2

I am looking to free trail access to SAP Solution Manager 7.2 system. Can you please guide me how to get the free trial access to SAP Solution Manager 7.2 system?

We installed the 30 day trial version of Solution Manager (SAP Solution Manager 7.2 SP08 & Focused Solutions SP03 (Demo System) with SAP S/4HANAcal.sap.com, but it seems that CBTA is not available due to licence errors.
Is there an cal version of solution manager which has CBTA enabled to evaluate?

Hello,

Indeed, there are trial versions of Solution Manager 7.2 in the SAP Cloud Appliance Library.

To create such an instance you need to provide a cloud service provider, it can be AWS or Azure, and from those clouds you need to configure some services so that CAL can instantiate your trial.

E.g. for AWS you need the following:

• Enable the Amazon EC2 service for your AWS account
• Your IAM user has the following roles: AmazonEC2FullAccess, AmazonVPCFullAccess, ReadOnlyAccess, and AWSAccountUsageReportAccess

From my point of view this is only a partial trial because, even if you have the trial provided by CAL, you need in addition another cloud account that has to comply with a set of rules/services, which might mean also that you need to pay for those services, therefore I see this as a partial trial. To use this you need another set of pre-requisites which might not be free so trial ends there.

There seems to be Solution Manager 7.2 available in the SAP Cloud Appliance Library:

SAP Solution Manager 7.2 SPS03 is available in SAP CAL!
