Oracle, deactive datagurad during large tablespace reorg

Hi,

we have a Oracle 11 box with its hot stand-by system in a remote site, It works fine. We need to reorg a large tablespace (1,7 TB) after a several clients deletion. So, we have planed to stop DR, backup datafile from primary site and the restore the copy to secondary site and then re-start data guard.

Is it good? Where can I find a procedure to do it? Is there e docu to do it?
