Cost configuration for Work Order

What parameters should be configured for a work order to get the cost out of it?

    Hey Navdeep,

    Usually commitments on work orders are through either Time Confirmations and Goods Issue..

    Time Confirmations need to have Activity Types, and Activity Types indeed have Cost Elements..Similarly all the Materials have GL's.

    So, you need to maintain Valuation Categories in the Config, so that when ever there is a commitment on work order, these costs get accumulated under the Cost tab..

    hi navdeep,

    you have to configured..

    1.CREATE Activity Type(KL01) and assign it with cost center in KP26.

    2.Create capacity,give formula in capacity in work center.

    3.Assign Activity Type and Cost Center in work center.

    For Display Cost you have to maintain..

    1.Maintain value category

    2.Assign value category to cost element or cost element group.
