Problem to execute Bex Analyzer on SAP Gui 7.0

Dear SDN Members

I have a problem when I try to install SAP Gui 7.0

I already install the new front end, but when I try to execute the Bex Analyzer (<b>SAP Netweaver 2004s</b>) to open the queries, this doesn’t allow me to press any button and also it is en German.

I also try to execute <b>TCODE RRMX</b>, but the Excel show me both version of Analyzer (Bex Analyzer 3.x and SAP Netweaver 2004s) but the last doesn’t work, too.

I download the follow software from SAP Marketplace.

I have the same problem, with not english windows ...

I apply OSS note 1089377 to solve the problem.... downloaded the Front End Patch FEP 2.01 for SAP GUI 7.10

Now analyzer works fine

Hi Balaji

Make a searche in the CD instalation from the folow files:

sapfctrl.dll

sapfcust.exe

sapfdraw.dll

sapfewrm.dll

sapfhook.dll

And them copy and paste them in the folow folder

C:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui

OSS gave me the fix yesterday - a new note that worked for my problem - and will be included in the next BI patch for 710 - note # 1078523

file BExAnalyzer.xla was placed in the wrong place on install.

Hi Lou,

I run the report sapbexc.xla, and I add the missing or problematic files (These are in the SAP Gui installation CD).

After that, the Bex analyzer works fine.

Or you can go to Analyzer (Gui 7.0) and select global setting->Tabs Behavior

Select:

- Log on with attached SAP Gui

- Launch legacy version from rrmx

Can I join in?

I have the same problem with a twist. Running sapgui 7.10 with the BI patch 1, and advanced snote 1058995 against our BI system @ 7 @ patch level 10.

Calling transaction RRMX surprisingly works correct in our production system and test system (copy of production) but not in our dev system or a copy of dev system upgraded to patch 12.

When I run the check I also get the same missing dll’s

sapfctrl.dll

sapfdraw.dll

sapfewrm.dll

sapfhook.dll

I opened an oss note a week ago – but no one has picked it up yet.

Hi Ariel,

Per a conversation that I had with the Developer this week, you need patch1 for the BI 7.x Add-on for SAPGUI 7.1 for all of the BEx tools to work properly. This patch should be released early next week (week of June 18).

I know you are not on these, but for anyone else reading this reply, as a reminder, for Vista and Office 2007, you must also be at SPS 12.

windows control panel > Administrative tools > EventViewer

select the EventViewer "Application"

right click > properties

increase log size to 4000 k -> validate

right click > clear events

run in program files > sap > gui > bw > BexInstaller.exe

Try running the Installation check sapbexc.xla to check whether all the files are installed correctly.

Before Installing i did Uninstall the SAP and re-installed from the begining and the path is ''D50083078 (D)\PRES1\GUI\WINDOWS\WIN32\SetupAll''.

We installed SAP GUI 710 and we dont have any problem accessing queries through 2004S BEx. To make sure that the BW front end installed correctly with required BI Add ons please go through OSS#197460 you will be able to figure it out the issue.
