Hi experts,

I just deployed the PGP module and am using it on a File Adapter. I made some initial tests and noticed an error in the module, that is, it is inserting the "Message-ID" together with some strange characters at the beginning of the file, that is, it is changing the contents of the file as can be seen in the prints in attachment.

Has anyone seen this error and can you help me?

Rogerio,

In your PGP module i don't see you are using any public key for encrypting.Try configuring your module as explained in the below blog and see:

Hello, Manoj!

My goal will be to just sign the file with the private key, but I have not yet activated this functionality because I am waiting for the BASIS team to put the private key in the directory "usr / sap / <System ID> / <Instance ID> / sec". However, even without configuring the signature (Private Key) or Encryption (Public Key), I assume that the module should not insert the MESSAGE-ID in the contents of the saved file.

Thank you!

Rogerio,

Yes you are right ! The module itself should fail as mandatory parameters are not passed or not sure if the module itself is built in such a way to insert message id .

But this should not appear once u have all the parameters in place so i dont think you need to not worry on this feature.

Manoj

Manoj,

You're right, I'll do new tests as soon as I can set up the digital signature.

Thank you!
