portal display rules regarding http header

Former Member

Hi,

we are thinking about providing portal pages for mobile devices, e.g. by providing a customized external facing framework page with a small navigation.

I was just checking the portal display rules and saw that the portal display can be separated using the "browser type"-filter. Does anybody now which user agent string in the http request headers are filtered by the several browser types listed there?

Any experiences with mobile access to portal pages?

Best regards,

Martin

Hi Martin,

I am not sure how much of the portal can you support through mobile devices. but if it has an html browser then it should be no problem, but if you are talking about non-html browsers then only mobile webdynpro will solve your purpose. else you will only get a message saying that the client is not supported.
