Tier Pricing for purchase order

Hi Team,

System :- Conditions and Price Determination (MM-PUR-VM) in ECC 6.0 EHP7

I wanted to understand the possibility of TIER Pricing(Cumulative Quantity price by scales) for Release Orders (PO’s) from contracts using SAP standard settings. If not need your advice if it need to be developed

Requirement:-

  1. Quantity Contract (MK) is created
  2. Scale Pricing maintained

1 to 10,000 units price is $200 USD

10,001 to 20,000 units price is $150 USD

20,001 to 30,000 units price is $100 USD

  • Current pricing Behavior
  • 1st Release Order is created for 5,000 units at a price of $200 USD
  • 2nd Release Order is created for 5,000 units at a price of $200 USD
  • 3rd Release Order is created for 5,000 units at a price of $200 USD ( determined by current System setup)
  • Required pricing behavior
    • 1st Release Order is created for 5,000 units at a price of $200 USD
    • 2nd Release Order is created for 5,000 units and the price of (5000 units +5000 units= 10000 Units) so that price is $200 USD
    • 3rd Release Order is created for 5,000 units and price should be (5000 units+5000 units + 5000 units=15000 units) $150 USD as the scale moved to next level.

So the requirement we need is to have the scale price determined by cumulative quantity of all orders but not determining the scale by current quantity which means determine $150 ( by system adding the Quantities of the release orders Release Order 1+ Release Order 2+ Release order 3)

How do I create this TIER pricing condition for MM/Procurement for Contracts and PO’s?

Is it possible by changing Scales ? Can you please provide definitions of current scales that might come handy for the above requirement

    B Value scale

    C Quantity scale

    D Gross weight scale

    E Net weight scale

    F Volume scale

G Scale based on a formula

    L Point scale

M Time period scale - Month

N Time period scale - Years

O Time period scale - Days

P Time period scale - Week

    R Distance

    S Number of shipping units

    T reserved (IS-OIL, time prices)

    X reserved (IS-OIL, day prices)

    Thanks

    Hi,

You may have to try some gimmick. Try creating a contract with same material with 3 line items with price as per your tiers (200,150,100), may be using 3 different condition types.

Whenever you are releasing a new order, choose the line item as per your required pricing from this contract.
