Revision Level

Hi,

My Client requirements are as follows:

1) BOM and Production order to contain a column having Component revision number ( Not in the Print)

2) Stock Quantities for the material based on the Revision number.

Pl. let me know if any solution is there to fulfil the above requirement.

Hi Raghavendra ,

for question 1) For production order it is not possible to see revision level of the component. but it is possible in palnned order ,

BOM explosion number help to explode on fixed key date i.e only existed revision levels are considered in BOM explosion, on that date

2) as per my knowledge there is no revision wise stock exist in standard SAP

My client also requested exactly the same.

1. are u able to find how to display the column in BOM which shows components revision levels?

2. Also in prod.order?

3. Did you guys wrote in ABAP code to track the stock at revision levels?

It will be a great help if you can assist me in solving these questions, i will really appreciate that..

Hi Kanth,

Revision level is possible only in BOM and Production order Print.

Stock quantities for the material is not possible on revision number. Is it possible to write ABAP code to track the stocks at revision level?

hi

to disply the revision of the component in Mutliple BOM .

goto T.code CS12 after exploding Mutliple BOM select the layout icon , include the revision level in the layout .

u can c revision component column wise

I think this can be done using Engineering Change Management with Change numbers for BOM activated.
