Portal content start screen: folders do not appear continues to load foreve

I have installed NW portal SR2 and can log into the portal. However when I select the Portal content tab, the folders do not appear and the load just spins and the folders never appear. Other tabs work fine.

Where can i find info regarding the portal content folders such as logs?
