Deactivating Duplicate Check Functionality in SAP MDG

Hi,

We need to deactivate duplicate check functionality in MDG. For that,we have followed below path and deactivated DES functionality.

SPRO->SAP Netweaver->Application Server->Basis Services->Address Management->SAP Business Objects Data Quality Management->Activate/Deactivate DES functionality

It seems duplicate check still being called. Please help on this

We also getting errors in SLG1(T-code) as below :

WARNING: A DQM for SAP technical error T001 at location 013 has occurred at transaction . Important: Please check your DQM for SAP Server for operational status.

Detailed specifications of error situation: Error Code: T001 : Exception COMMUNICATION_FAILURE raised during DQ call Location Code: 013 : RFC call to GENERIC_SERVICE within class /FLDQ/CL_MDG_DUPL_CHECK

Can you please help on how to avoid these errors?

We wanted to completely deactivate this functionality so that we can avoid these issues.

Can you please suggest how to do this?

Have you checked the RFC connection to Data Services ?
