Characteristics-based ATP for STO - Event RP

Hello experts,

there is the possibility in standard to perform characteristics-based ATP check on STO?

On sales order, this functionality is working well. We are able to populate in the order the necessary characteristics to pass to ATP check in APO via batch determination.

However, for a Stock Transfer Order, is there a possibility to pass characteristics during gATP check?

General assumptions for our scenario:

- we are not working with CDP in APO, characteristics are populated using exits for ATP check on sales orders. We would like to achieve the same on STO

- No use of configurable materials is desired.

Has someone already experience in a similar scenario?

Dear Salvador,

I'm sorry, but this functionality does not exists for STOs. Maybe you can add some with a BADI (see note 821934) - but I'm not quite sure.

thanks for your reply. It is extremely strange that such a functionality (Char.Based ATP) is not readily available for STO but I begin to believe it is indeed not even possible to have a custom enhancement that would allow it. Coming back to the note you propose:

It mentions 3 possibilities to pass extra fields to APO.

- ME_CHANGE_CHARACTER is used to pass extra characteristics for product allocation check. Do you know if I can use these characteristics somehow to perform a Characteristic-Based ATP check (not the same functionality as PAL as you know). It will allow filling in CH_CATALOGUE which seems only useful for PAL.

- EXIT_SAPLMEAP_001 is useful to transfer custom PO fields to APO. Is there any possibility to relate these new fields and use the for ATP check on characteristics? I do not immediately see how.

- /SAPAPO/DM_PO_MNTN is called in order to allow storage of fields in table /sapapo/mm_doc. Again, I do not see how I could relate this to a Char.based ATP check.

None of the options above is sufficient to fulfill the requirement. Perhaps there is some other enhancement that can complement these ones?
