How to access the portal user custom property in VC

Can any body give the solution for this issue.

we have developed one webdynpro application, it will search the sales orders based on the payeid or customer no.

For that, we have added one custom properity to the portal user properties. like Customer_number. Based on this value we are searching the sales orders in R3system, when the user logged in, In the webdynpro application, reading the associated customerno to the Customer_number property and pass the customer id to bapi for searching the sales order.

In the same way ,

we are developing VC application. Here also we need to read that mapped customer no with the customer_number. In VC we have UserData control. i have added to the view, but i am not able to see this property in the user parameters list.

Can u tell me how to access that propertity in VC?

I am new to the VC.
