Hi,

If company is maintaining 4-5 personnel numbers does it effect the master data.

this personnel numbers are maintaining before SAP HR implementation.

my question is many personnel no.s can be maintained for one employee.do it effect the PA and OM module during implementation and after implementation.

Hi Archana,

No It will not effect the master data if a same employee has different personnel number also but only thing is u need to maintain that information in one of the Infotype write now I dont remember. But Yes can maintain that.

Will tell the Infotype number shortly.

It is possible to maintain more than one personnel no for an Employee . Such a case arises in CONCURRENT EMPLOYMENT (Version 4.7) where an employee has more than one personnel nos assigned .The personnel nos are stored in IT 0709 (For the case of concurrent employment).

Concurrent Emplyment is available in only 47 & above versions. You can meet your requirement by maintaining the <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/7e/5e058e4a1611d1894c0000e829fbbd/frameset.htm">Reference Pers Nos</a> ( 0031 ) in the lower SAP versions.

No problem create as much as you want.

But still it is quite a good question why the two three Numbers for a single employee is needed before the SAP HR implemetation.

May be a requirement.

the reason why many personnel numbers are using is they assigned to different company codes.

sales person is given 3 to 4 personnel numbers.

my question is can one personnel no. can be given to sales person who are assigned to different comp codes.

on which per. no. employee details can be maintained in Master data if they r huving 3-4 per. no.s.

It could be given now there must be the relationship you have to maintain between the two personal number.

I was busy unable to find the corect way but still it can be done, and in many company it is the provision.
