Hello Experts,

I have a .Net windows program which calls SAP function modules to get data. I have it working on my dev machine (Windows 7 64 bit). However when I test it on a clean Windows 10 (64 bit) machine I get the following error:

Cannot call classic RFC API. See help for details. Please put a recent 32-bit version of librfc32.dll in your SysWOW64 folder (typically C:\Windows\SysWOW64). See SAP note 413708. Please make sure you have installed Visual C++ 2005 SP1 ATL Security Update (x86).

On my dev machine (Windows 7), I have placed the librfc32.dll in the SysWOW64 folder and installed Visual C++ 2005 SP1 ATL Security Update (x86) and all works as expected.

However, on Windows 10 machine, I keep getting the above error even after librfc32.dll is placed in the SysWOW64 folder and Visual C++ 2005 SP1 ATL Security Update (x86) is installed. I have tried rebooting etc. but no luck.

Any ideas? Many thanks in advance.

Ajit
