LINK BETWEEN BUSINESS AREA AND MATERIAL NUMBER

Hello EXPERTS,

I have a report based on a custom table .The custom table contains company code, materials and their date run as primary keys.

In the selection screen I am having one field business area, based upon the value entered in the selection screen in business area field I have to retrieve the corresponding materials.

I want to know the relation between business area and materials ( resp. tables and primary keys)

Plz any one guide me on this ...

MBEW-BWKEY and SPART --> from MARA -->T134H --> get business area.

I think there is not direct link business area and materieal

Can u be more specific

based upon the business area I have to retrieve materials... the report which I generated is based upon only one custom table. In selection screen I am having business area field but it is not existing in the custom table...

can any one guide me to solve this problem...

MBEW and T134H is having one common field valuation area

based upon the this key is it possible to retrieve all the material numbers ...? Does it give all the correct material number what ever v require

Business area is Financial Segmentation of business . There are two ways to determine business area in customization .

1. Business are by Plant and Division

2. Business are by Sales are

For retriving data material wise use table MSEG field name GSBER.

u can select MATNR for given business area (GSBER) .
