Help on FILE to File Scenario

Former Member

Hi all,

I am trying to create a simple a XML File TO XML File scenario. Somehow the server is picking up the input file properly but it is not putting the output file properly. When I go to RunTime WorkBench and click on Message Monitoring It shows that 3 messages(I had sent 3 messages) were processed successfully. However the starnge thing is that only sender information is being displayed. No receiver information is showing up. When I click on statistics from SAP XI screen (Integration Engine Monitoring) it shows 3 XML messages are being edited. Also when I try to see for processed messages in transaction SXI_Monitor The message doesn't show up. Does anybody have a clue.

I checked in Adapter Monitoring and for File it is red so I guess that is the problem. Anyway everybody thanks for all the help.

What is the SP level? What is that and how do I find it ?

I think this is a actual message

<SAP:Code area="MAPPING">JCO_COMMUNICATION_FAILURE</SAP:Code>

<SAP:P1>Error opening an RFC connection.</SAP:P1> Why is it opening a RFC connection for a file adapter?

Hi Sonia,

It is JCO Communication Failure error.

Where is your adapter engine resides ?? Is it a destributed system where adapter engine is away from integration server ?

As your file is not picking up and you are getting JCO error which indicates that your decentralized adapter engine is not reachable from Integration Server.

Try to investigate ..

Actually when I monitor for System Error Messages in Monitor for processed XML messages I see ""COMMUNICATION FAILURE" during JCo call. Error" so I presume it is a communication channel problem. Is that right?

Actually I don't even see a Communication Channel Monitoring. So what do I do.

What is the SP level? Do you have adapter monitoring? Check it there.

HI Sania

Please check your communication channel. Check the status whether it is in active state or inactive state. I think ur receiver CC is in inactive state

Cheers...

Hi,

Are you using any content conversion. ithink you are sending XML . so no..

So check the channel monitor -- rwb - component monitor - channel monitor

select your sender CC ,, see the Error.

After see in SXMB_Monitor .if any error occurr , check accordingly , or check in Mapping.

Also take the source of xml payload from sxmb_moni and come back to message mapping and check with that xml, for runtime errors.

So check the channel monitor -- rwb - component monitor - channel monitor

select your receiver CC ,, see the Error.

See the output file is placed or not.

Sonia,

Check communication channel monitoring in RWB. Check the status of your sender communication channel. If it has a success msg then you can see the processed msg in SXI_MONITOR. Just make sure you have selected the proper date/time range.
