ODS Transactional

Hi guys:

I'm a little problem. We need to extract information from an external database and put it into BW 3.5. For this reason we design a program that extract the information and connect to BW through RFC function. For this reason our ODS is transactional, not standard.

My question is: this ODS could be part of a basic level to tribute info to a cube?

transactional ODS - standard ODS - cube, can we design this process chain?
