Can qty and unit price not get refreshed when I change item code in rows?

Hi SAP Experts,

I would like to check with you, is there any way for unit price and quantity not to get updated in rows whenever I change the item code? My client have Sales Order which after they post, they sometimes want to change the item code, but they don't want the quantity and price to get erased when they change the item. Is this possible in any way?

Hi,

If price already defined in price list, even user remove item, the price will be added again. But quantity, user needs to enter manually.

Alternatively, before removing the item code, user may duplicate row and change item code in new row and then copy unit price and quantity.
