We are trying to implement a modular BOM using phantom items; however, the cost of the child parts are not pushed up to the phantom item. We use CIS ModelBuilder as a configurator for our product. Without the cost of the child parts pushed up to the phantom item, the configurator does not display a cost for our sales people to quote with.
Is there any what to get the cost pushed up to the phantom item or a different way to go about setting up the modular BOM? We do not want the parent item to be an inventory item and we do not want it to show on production orders.
