Is it possible to add a calculation with an Analysis workbook with Shared Axis

Hello Experts,

We have just installed Analysis for Office 2.4 SP3. I used Combine to group two Crosstabs. I want to know if you can create a calculation that uses one column from Crosstab 1 and one column from Crosstab 2?

When I highlight both columns, the Calculations icon is not active.

If I place my cursor on just one column, calculations are active. However, you do not see both columns showing in the workbook when I attempt to create a calculation.

Best regards,

Lisa

Hi Lisa - this is not possible; please vote on Torsten Wirth's idea in Idea Place - https://ideas.sap.com/D39600 - it is a good suggestion / idea.

Hi Tammy.

I was hoping this functionality was able in AO 2.4 SP3, cause it was exactly what I needed. Thanks for the idea link. I went to it and voted in favor.

Unfortunately, I had to go back to my datasources design and modified them at BW side so I can apply the calculations. A little bit aditional effort. 😞
