what is the difference between the condition type VK11 and VK31,

Hi Dave,

VK11 and VK31 both Tcodes functionaly is same.

VK11:Maintain the Condition records individualy.

VK31:Maintain the condition records gorups and its useful to mass change of condition records.

Example:In VK11 we can maintain records for PR00,But in VK31 we can maintain records for PR00,K004,K007 etc at a same time.

Hi,

The common thing between VK11 andVK31 is both are used for maintaining condition records in pricing.

Difference is

VK11 is used for maintaining condition records individually i.e., regarding pricing, taxes, discounts.We can maintain them individually for each of the condition type.

VK32 is used for maintain condition records for the required condition types in a mass scale.

What is the difference of VK11 and VK31 (condition records)?

Difference between VK11 and VK31 - if you go through the menu path you will get the vk 31 as condition record from the templates whereas vk11 as simple condition record. In VK11 you can store condition record for more than one condition

type. This means you can have same condition record for different condition types.This feature is given to enhance the system's performance and not to create the duplication of the work for each condition type.

Again system is not allowing to store the record in the vk31 for the condition type pr00 and access sequence pr02.This is because if you see this ac seq contains two accesses 20 and 30 having the same table no.But you see there is the difference between the technical view of it for transferring the data from document field and condition field,so you can not maintain the data at VK31

VK31 is for only Standard Condition types ? or For Customised condition types also can we use? like Zr00 , Z007 ...etc

Helloo,

--VK31 is for mass maintenance of condition types.

--VK31 we can create ONLY the SAP Standard condition record where in can access discounts, prices, taxes and freights.

--VK11 is used to maintain condition records individually for each condition type.

Whereas VK31 is used for mass maintenance of all the condition types.

If we want to maintain condition records for pricing, discounts, taxes

in VK11 we have to do it individually

whereas in VK 31 we can maintain condition records for all the three at a time.
