Segmentation Configuration App (Transport request?)


We're on SAP Hybris Marketing 1702 On-Premise. We have an app named "Segmentation Configuration" on UI. I wanted to give it a try and made some customizing activities in that app. I'm surprised that it didn't prompt any request to store the changes. Is this normal? If it's normal, how can we transport these changes made via this app to QA and Prod systems*

    Hi Hakan,

    pls. check the documentation about the Manage Software Collection Apps.

    These configuration + extensibility changes would show up in the export app and you would use the import app in the prod. system to get it it.

    Hi Matthias,

    Thanks for the reply. I suppose you refer to the apps under tab called "Extensibility and Adaptability". I already used "Custom field and logic" app for creating a custom field named "Occupation" for example. The custom fields I added to root table of customer are automatically registered for a local package in app named "Register extensions for Transport". I registered my own development package in app named "Configure software packages" and then re-assigned package and request under "Register extensions for Transport" again.

    However in here, I cannot track any change regarding segmentation configuration. I'm a bit confused how to proceed. The documentation you refer to talks about extension fields (which is I'm done with, please see first paragraph).

    Is there any clear guide about this segmentation configuration application?
