How toByDesign Excel Add-in - How to refresh a report after downloaded the report ?

Hello guys,

For your information, I am working with the HTML5 interface.

When I am creating a report in SAP ByD, I only have the option to download it to Excel.

If I download this report, I am not able to refresh data via Excel Add-in.

When I was working with the Silverligh interface I was able to download the report and refresh data because we had the option "naviguate to". This option is not available in HTML5 interface.

Do you have any solution or a workaround?

Hi Benjamin,

This functionality has not changed with the UI change. The "Refresh" and the "Navigate-to" functionalities reside in the add-in and only apply to reports that have been inserted and initiated through the Excel add-in.

Reports that are run in the UI (either the Silverlight or the HTML5 UI) and then downloaded to Excel become static reports.
