Wat is the difference between Check and Uncheck in SU24?

I am confused since documentation says :

UnCheck(U) :The check for corresponding authorization object is always executed. Field values are not displayed in the Profile Generator.

Check(C):Check always executed. Field values are not displayed in the Profile Generator

Wat is the difference between the two ? Any thoughts delete

    Both check and uncheck will not be pulled in to the profile generator for given transactions that use these objects.

    Unchecked: means not check value has been set and will not be pulled into PG. Most likely this object will not be used for the transaction.

    Check: The transaction may be able to use the object however with this setting it will not be pulled into the profile generator. Changing it to check maintain will pull it into profile generator when the tcode is added and it may activate the object to be checked in the transaction--this needs to be evaluated on a transaction by transaction basis.

    Cheers,

      The difference is:

      Unchecked: means not check value has been set and thus it will not be pulled into PG.

      Check: The transaction may use the object however with this setting it will not be pulled into the profile generator.

      As far as Profile Generator is concerned it will act the same and not pull in the objects for check or unchecked.

    hi,

    the check indicator of an authorization object is important for the PG , the PG only creates an authorization for an authorization object if the check indicator is set to check/maintain(CM).

    C=check

    1)an authorization check is carried out against this object

    2)the PG does not create an authorization for this object , so field values are not displayed

    3)no default values can be maintained for this authorization.

    U=unmaintained

    1)an authorization check is always carried out against this object

    2)the PG does not create an authorization for this object , so field values are not displayed

    3)no check indicator is set.

    if you find the information useful award me suitable points.

    regards
