Reports on Inventory cube showing double records

Dear All,

I am facing one issue on inventory cube 0IC_C03, I have loaded the stock using 2lis_03_bx and did the compression with marker update after that I did check my report it is showing me correct values , after that I did load the 2lis_03_bf with the historical movements and did compression without marker update.

Now, when I am checking the report it is showing exactly double records.

Can you please give any suggestions.

Regards

Amit kapoor

I think...Once you loaded BX, you should be laoding new movemetns[ delta BF] but not historical.

[I think...I may be wrong.]

we end up having a custom solution for inventory..

Check your log under the collapse tab for the onfocube to be sure that you actually compressed the history without marker update.

After many problems witrh the same, we found that when you change the setting for No Marker Update (check or uncheck the box) you need to wait about 5 minutes for the buffers to change and the new setting to take affect.

You can also check the status of the marker update in table RSDCUBE

Hi,

First check in RSA3. Check the data whether it is correct or double.

If it is double then delete the set up table and fillup the set up table once again.

Thanks,

Hi Amit,

We are on BI7.0 and after the upgrade from 3.5 to 7 this problem arose. My colleagues have logged an OSS, but SAP could not help. Have you been able to solve the problem?

Regards.

Hi Amit,

First check the values in R/3 side itself. Check the data in RSA3 using the extractor 2lis_03_bf and compare the records with MB5B & MB51. If you find any duplicate records in R/3 itself, it could be becoz of the statistical setup. If the data is perfect in R/3. Check the data in ODS level, create a temp query based on ODS and check there are any duplicates for a particular material. If everything is fine ODS level it could be becoz of the compression in the cube level( Without Marker update - Make sure the check mark of no marker should be checked while compressing BF data).

Hi BK,

I did check the data in R/3 , data is correct there . problem is on BI side.

I am using a stabdard cube and not having ODS.

Hi,

It seems some how the compression of BF delta init was done with Marker update .

In RSRT click on Generate report by selecting your Query to clear the buffer. Then after also Still it is double values , then we can ensure that some how compression of BF init was done with marker update.

Possible reasons are given in notes: 636738,834829.

The way to know whther the request was compressed with marker update is given in the note: 643687.
