Hi guys
Can anyone please expalin to me what is meant by "line item level" data? and how it affects data loads?
Thanks
Hi Gurbinder,
With a lot of transactional data loads, you have the data at the Header (transaction or document) level like the Sales Order Number, and then you have the details for the line items in this document as the line item level data. Generally the line item data is quite detailed and higher in volume. It makes sense to load the lie item data after the header data has been loaded into BW.
Here is one example:http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/73/0bf23839caf878e10000000a114084/content.htm
Hope this helps...
