1. Check if the mail server is set up in SPRO for broad casting?

2. Check if the user records in SU01 carriers email addresses?

3. Schedule the job in process chain; there is a process type for this.

Tks Ravi ..

But I've already succed to sent the email through broadcaster.

But the problem is i can't schedule it.

It's supposed after i've made that background job, when i tap schedule button for sending the email, in the appeared context menu for scheduling will be displayed my setting in the background job that i made before.

Do you know whether any authorization that user need to have for scheduling ???

Still need your guidance.

Daniel N.

Did you specify a factory calendar on teh Timepoint job? The problem I have at 3.5 SP18 is that the the ABAP code that searches for the timepoint jobs to display under the scheduling options only displays jobs that do NOT have a factory calendar value. So check your job, if there is s factory celndar vale set, remove it, and then see if the timepoint now displays inthe schedule options.

See SAP Note Number 923865 - Scheduled time points not visible in

the BEx Broadcaster

<i>Symptom

You want to use the scheduling of report RSRD_BROADCAST_FOR_TIMEPOINT to create timepoints that users can use to schedule their settings in the BEx Broadcaster. Although a job was scheduled in accordance with the BEx Broadcaster documentation, it is not displayed in the BEx Broadcaster.

Cause and Prerequisites

The BEx Broadcaster only accepts jobs that have been scheduled periodically

with a daily period or longer and for which there is no irregular

scheduling (for example, no scheduling on weekends or public holidays or no

use of factory calendars).

Thanks Pizzaman,

Yes you're true..

The scheduled setting will not appear if we schedule the background job hourly, minutely; at least we must schedule it daily.

And pizzaman, i've already delivered you the points as my appreciate for your kindness.

Btw, i still have another problem about information broadcasting, perhaps you can help me to overcome.

Somehow, the scheduler of information broadcasting doesn't work.

So for ex if i've already made 3 information broadcasting for 1 report, and 4 information broadcasting for 1 report; then i schedule for those reports at 7 pm (daily).

When the time is at 7 pm, the reports are not sent at all.

Even i checked to tcode SOSV, there were no log about the error/somethings ..

These are activities that i did:

1. Add authorization S_RS_BCS

2. Add authorization S_RS_ADMWB

Do i still miss some steps here ?

Could you give me ideas ??

I still need the guidance from you / all my collegues in SDN.

Many-many Thanks

Kind regards,

Daniel N.
