Hybris Marketing Marketing Area

Hi All,

I am trying to create a new email. However, when i clicked "marketing area" drop down to select a value, nothing is available there. I have created marketing area in the configuration and it's active. Also, i believe there is a default value of "global" correct?

Can anyone help me to figure out what is missing or what should i do?

Could you first check whether the marketing area in SPRO is configured correctly.

In "SAP Hybris Marketing -> General Settings -> Define Marketing Areas" for instance GLOBAL should be set to active.

My first guess would be authorization roles.

Do you use a SAP_ALL profile in your test system or one of the SAP composite roles?

If you're using the SAP roles you may need to copy them into customer namespace and complete them, there's a lot of authorization objects in them that are still yellow, if I'm not mistake the object for marketing area is one that isn't filled in in the standard roles.
