REDWOOD SCHEDULING QUESTION

In release 9 of Redwood, it looks like you cannot submit a job on demand, unless it has top level checked within the job definition.

Should we have top level checked for all job definitions then? because sometimes we run jobs on demand, ( not the full chain , but a single job from a chain )

why would we not be able to do an on demand in release 9

what are the implications of having top level checked for all jobs and chains then?

The top level flag only has impact on the suggested item list for adhoc submit. You can always go to the definitions or chain overview and submit from there even if top level is not set. Otherwise have a look at your User Setting flag for Only allow submit from summery page.
