Insert is Not Possible in ODS

Dear Friends,

Currently we are on upgradation with netweaver 2004s from 3.5.

After Upgradation when i tried to insert some IO's in Key field or in Data field in

ODS object, its not allowed and the INSERT option is not enabled or highlighted.

Its an urgent requirement to add or insert chars IO now. Some one help us as early as possible plz!!!
