How reliable is ICE?

Hi,

We want to use ICE to transfer some HTML content between portals (NW04s SPS10). The scenario is One Syndicator, Two Subscribers. However we are concerned what happens if one of the subscribing portal becomes unavailable - when it is available again will it then receive all updates that it missed or only new ones since the last scheduled update by the Syndicator.

Does it have an impact on this scenario whether you use "push" or "pull"? E.g. is it better to use pull from the Subscriber side so that it always receives all updates that it might have missed while it was unavailable.

If anyone has any advice or experience in this area it would be greatly appreciated.
