Hello gurus,
I have created a infoObject and in the application componenti have created a infosource for that. Now if i want to load data into this infoobject by Transformation using a flat file, it asks for OBJECT TYPE in the SOURCE Of TRANSFORMATION... so what will be the infoobject for the Flat file i mean Excel sheet?????
Replies are appreciated and awarded
To load from flat file you will need a data source . First create a file data source -
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/43/01ed2fe3811a77e10000000a422035/content.htm
Then you create a transformation from data source to Info Object. In the source of transformation select the Data Source and in the target select the Info Object .
After this you will have to create a DTP for the load from PSA ( Data Source ) to Infoobject .
To pull data from file to PSA you will have to create an infopackage and execute . After execution of infopackage you will have to execute DTP .
Regards.
Sanjay
