BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE calculating incorrect tax value WRT GST INDIA implementation

we are using BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE to create invoice.

after implementing GST notes a new field ASSESABLE VALUE is added at item level in MIRO screen. the value of this assesable value field is included in calculating the total tax(custom value tax + assesable value tax of all items). this is successful when creating invoice through MIRO.

But using the BAPI for creating invoice is not including the assesable value for calculating total tax.

as an alternative we implemented a solution by passing the total tax value to the BAPI and not passing the calculate_tax value as 'X'. but another error 'The tax amount must not be greater than the tax base' is occurring as the tax is calculated for custom value+assesable value.

eg: custom value: 10000 -> tax at 12% = 1200

assesable value = 100000 ->tax at 12% = 12000

total tax = 1200 + 12000 = 13200.

logic as per standard functionality is checking if total tax > custom value. if yes, the error occurs.

if this is bypassed the process works as expected.

I did not find relevant notes.

Awaiting for suggestions for this issue.

thanks in advance

    I'm facing an issue related to Assesable Value. The field is populated in MIRO but IGST is not getting calculated on assesable value. It is only considering the BCD for GST calculation.

    Please suggest some solution.

    Thanks in advance
