XI adapter security

Hi all XI Guru-s

I have problem with security settings on some adapters. Basicaly, some checkboxes are missing so I cant set some properties. For example MAIL and SOAP adapters:

Adapter: Missing checkboxes

MAIL_Receiver: Configure user authentication [which allow Authentication method]

SOAP_Receiver: Configure user authentication,Configure Certificate Authentication

I use XI with Service Pack 19 on MS Win Server 2003 Standard Edition.

For another systems (with sp15, sp19), all is OK, but for this one, I’m not able to find why thease checkboxes are not displayed in IntegrationBuilder.

Please any hint .

Thanks for quick answer.

But lets look at this that I was "promoted" to basis team for XI as single member so there no one to ask to do import. Basicaly the adapters are working fine, both MAIL and SOAP (send and receive) for scenarios where the security is not required. So i was thinking that only somwere need set something to use security enhancment. Maybe this idea is wrong.

Ardon,

When you talk of the Mail adapter User Authentication , is it the option when you select it and you can enter the user id and password to send emails from your Mail Server?

If this is the option that is missing then you will have to download the SAP basis component for SP 19 from Service market place and then import it in the IR.

If you are talking about SSL related security, then my answer does not hold.

Hi,

Looks like some problem with the Adapter Metadata.

Ask your basis team to import the SAP Basis Component in the Integration Reposiotory for your Corresponding SP level.
