Hello,
Version : EPM : version 10.0 SP23 Net 23
I created a report with the EPM Excel.
Details of customizing of report
rows : I assign the 3 member : Segment A,B and C with the hierarchy 'Total' for the dimension SEGMENT
columns : I assign one member : date for the dimension 'Indicator'
I managed the view format for the dimension indicator and assign the format 'date' and data validation ' See the file for miore details
Problems
BPC sums the dates. I don't want that the values of dates sums : 22:12/2369 in 'total semgent4 . The target is to have 28/06/2017 for the total segment'
NB : I would like to keep the hierarchy 'total segment ' for the others calculation.
Question :
What is the solution so that BPC don't sum the date for the total segment
Regards
Bastien
With local member you simply reference the cell in the first line. No property used.

Hi Vadim,
I want to have the same date in 'total' and the other segment.
The dates are always de same for all segment.
NB : the user inputs the same a date for all segment. With a local member with the property of the dimension Segment, it's difficult because I dont want ot use the process to create the maseter data on the fly.

"BPC sums the dates" - BPC sums integer representation of Excel dates 🙂 Format dates as numbers and you will see...
And Total will always sum parents!
Not clear what date do you want to have in "Total" if segment dates are different...
You have to use local member instead of "Total" member.
