requirements gathering regards to Sap SD

Hi Friends,

I have some doubts regarding requirements gathering process( take any one concpet in sap sd like master data for pricing, customer master, material master.......etc.

requirement gathering process:

1) what is the initial step we are going to do?

2) how we communicate with the users?

3) what are questions we are going to ask the users?

4) what type of the questions we may expect from the users?

if any thing i miss here or left over pls. include those also.
