WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF WF-BATCH USER?

Also just to add to what Ramesh has stated in regards to WF-Batch. You do not need to apply SAP_ALL/NEW and per SAP Standards you should work where possible to create a specific role for the WF-Batch (or any service account) to use. (e.g. Z**-WFBATCH_SECURITY_ROLE)

Please note that there have been Security update posts from SAP stating that their end goal is to get rid of SAP_ALL/NEW which means that in the future if those profiles go away in an upgrade then any of your service accounts with this profile will break.

Take the time to trace and test your processes and create a role. I currently do not use SAP_ALL for any of my service/system/rfc accounts.

Hello Achiki,

In addition to Ramesh's comments, it is not mandatory to use WF-BATCH as E-mail sender. you can maintain another user ID in parameter 1113 as E-mail sender.

WF-BATCH should have an email address noemail@xxx.com
