How to update cross catalog mapping version on provider contract

We are trying to add a new cross catalog mapping version to incorporate a new charge plan to existing provider contracts. We successfully implemented this via change process PROD_CHANGE but are getting inconsistent results. It works in the DEV environment but after transport does not work in the Quality environment. It also seems to stop working intermittently in the DEV environment. What is the best practice to update new charge plan information in CC on existing contracts and what could be the reason for it working inconsistently in DEV but not at all in Quality (we checked authorizations already - no problems immediately visible).

    FYI - In case anyone looking for answer. Used CCM_VERSION_UPD change process and customized UI screen to populated product and default version. This solved the problem and all existing provider contracts were updated to use the latest CCM version.
