Hello,

I have a client that uses Crystal Reports 2013, SP7 build 14.1.7.1853.

The software is currently installed on a Windows 2012 R2 terminal server, and has 1 "full" type licenses currently installed.

A second user needs to access the Crystal Reports software on the same terminal server, and I need to verify licenses requirements and compatibility.

Is it simply possible purchase an additional CR licenses, and apply it to the license module within the CR software on our terminal server, and then properly allowing for a second user concurrently?

Please let me know.

Thanks!

-Kelly

Hi Kelly,

Yes, please do purchase a separate license for that individual as another Named User License holder. As you mentioned, you would enter the 2nd code in to your existing application's License Manager.

Crystal Reports 2013 is licensed under a Named User License, so each individual who will use the software needs a license each. With a single installation shared by two individuals then two licenses need to be purchased. Both license codes can be entered into the application for administration and to show compliance.

Thank you,

Edwin
