Are the BOBJ Edge and Enterprise Install files the same?

I read on a couple forum posts they were, however this sap note threw me off: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/0002387459

It lists patch downloads for "SBOP BI PLATFORM SERVERS 4.2"

But then further down says "Note: Patches for EDGE BI 4.2 STANDARD PACKAGE are also available, please follow the steps below to download the Patches."

I've only ever dealt with EDGE version, I have a client who has the full Enterprise version, I gave them the download #'s that I get from my own SID (which only sees EDGE) for what to download when I go to do the install.

Is it the license keys that determine the edition, or is it the install file?

The install files are not exactly the same and should not be mixed. By Install packages I mean when you install from scratch/new.
Patches are a bit different as regular platform patches can be used for patching edge, not sure if edge patches can be used to patch regular platform.
As a rule i'd stick with Edge patches for Edge products and Platform patches for Platform.

To confirm, the install file for the BI Platform is different for the Edge version vs the Enterprise/Premium version, and it's not dictated by the License keys applied? (ignoring any patching)

As an example, this BI Platform Install file:

51051282_1 - SBOP BI PLATFORM 4.2 SP03 SERVER WINDOWS (64B) 1/2

51051282_2 - SBOP BI PLATFORM 4.2 SP03 SERVER WINDOWS (64B) 2/2

It doesn't state Edge or Enterprise anywhere that I can see and once installed it seems like you could apply either licenses.

The client is licensed for the Full version not just Edge, so I want to make sure I'm not telling them to download the wrong software.

Yes, not just license dictate the difference for the original install packages.

One last follow up, is there a way to find the install #'s for the appropriate packages?

For example, my SID only shows BOBJ Edge software, how could I find the proper packages to download for someone with the Enterprise licensing?

on SAP site where are the links regarding SAP BI Platform Edge? Under SBOP BI Platform (Enterprise) I see only SBOP BI Platform 4.1 and SBOP BI Platform 4.2.
