Hello Loukas,

first of all thanks a lot for your help. The Notes are very helpful.

Now I need to ask something more.

I have MySAP Business Suite: SAP ERP 2005 now.

The CDs I have now for IDES are for IDES SAP Retail 4.7x1.10 MSSQLSERV</b>. This are 13 CDs and there is only 2 Export CDs (DB Export CDs). In the the notes you wrote are talking about 6 Export Cds.

So what is write now? Do I have an old version of IDES as it says: IDES 4.7x1.10?

Thanks again.

Best regards

Hi Hans,

yes apparently you are referring to an older version of SAP ERP.

Netweaver started with my SAP ERP2004(ECC5) and my SAP ERP2005 or call it NW04s(ECC6)

Loukas

Hello Hanseatik ,

have a look also to:

Note 1013391 - IDES ERP 2005 ECC 6.0 SR2

when we talk about ECC6 ides ABAPJAVA you need at least 250GB hard disk

since 15GB for os and other uses is must and 225GB only for SAP ABAP stack

RAM you need 2GB for ABAP+JAVA and for better performance you need >2.4Ghz processor

Hi srinivas,

Hardware Configuration for installing ECC 6.0 for ABAP stack only

1.HARD DISK: -240 Gb (including ECC 6.0 Software dump)

2.RAM : -1 Gb

3.CPU : -2.4 G Hz

NOTE: your JAVA version should be less than 1.5 and oracle should be 10g

For the Installation procedure goto www.service.sap.com/instguide.

The 200+ page installation guide and the planning guides are all on the Service Marketplace. The only mySAP ERP 2005 documentation on www.sap.com is here but it is not very technical (http://www.sap.com/solutions/business-suite/erp/index.epx).

Also remember you need to have the SAP solution manager installed in order to be able to get an installation key to the installer to run.
