Attribute Change run error

Hi ,

We are currently on BW 3.1 , When I execute the attribute change run for one of the infobjects it doesn't change the version of the content from M to A. I have around 160 such entries in the objects which are not getting updated through Attribute Change run. Job for Change run finishes without any error but still these objects remain in revised version instead of getting activated.

Can anyone please help.

Activate the object first and activate the data and try change run.

Also, if you do for seevral objects, there may be a lock situation also. So, pl be careful.

Can you see one of the infoobject you are refeering to in info object list in attribute change run?

you can check the following.

1. Does the InfoObject require Change Run to activate it? (i.e is it used in any aggregates). If not, just go ahead and activate it from RSA1 directly. If object requires Change run to activate it, you will see a msg telling the same when doing Activate from RSA1.

2. Make sure if you are selecting the required InfoObject while running the Attribute change run.

3. Try using the Change run program RSDDS_AGGREGATES_MAINTAIN and run it with the InfoObject you want to activate.

Check the logs to make sure if everything is doing ok.

Thanks for the Reply , Currently running the Attribute Change run to enable the changes done to the Attributes.

Just a thought if there are any red requests for the master data infoobject that are not deleted..for these inactive infoobjects..delete those and check.

Thanks for the reply, We don't have any Red request. current workaround is we reload that data and do the change run, but if anyone else has faced this situation then please let me know.
