Input control. "the list of values has changed. the selected values can be obsolete"

Hey,

I have a problem with input control. For exapmle when I create imput control on City:

with Austin is defaul I get the data.

But when I change freport filter to Not equal to 'Austin:

I have to following result:

Or even when i select other city tan Austin and then apply query filter like "not equal to 'Boston'" I have the same issue.

How can I force Webi to pick an existing value from list?

According to SAP Note 2188419 it is a bug that is fixed in 4.1 SP5 Patch 2 and everything above that. It also only appears in Applet mode.

We have it in HTML on 4.1 SP7 Patch 11 so the note does not seem to be totally correct. According to SAP support, however, they cannot reproduce our issue in 4.2 SP4 but they can reproduce it in 4.2 SP3 Patch 7.

To summarize, it appears to be a bug that is perhaps partially corrected in 4.1 SP5 Patch 2 but there are certain cases that aren't corrected until a much later version of BO.
