Using deployable proxy to access web service

Hi all,

I have a web service that returns a 2D String array as output. It doesn require any input. I am trying to access the web service using a deployable proxy. I created a deployable proxy following linkhttp://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/2d/b9766df88f4a24967dae38cb672fe1/content.htm">link> . Then, I created an EJB. But do not know how to add JNDI Mapping in it. Also,I do not know adding Application Reference to the Enterprise Application Project. I am following this linkhttp://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/45/029840cf43495195da923f32262911/frameset.htm">link>.

When I try to deploy the .ear file to the J2EE engine, I get this error - com.sap.engine.services.deploy.exceptions.ServerDeploymentException.

Has someone tried this scenario?

Any ideas?

Thanks & Regards,

M.Subathra

    hi,

regarding JNDI mapping you need to give the unique name to your components so that they can be looked up with those name whenever need to be refrenced

go to your ejb project ,

ejb project->ejb-j2ee-engine-xml , click on it you will get the structure on right side, expand 'session beans' , click on your bean ,

here it will ask you the JNDI name.

for adding your ejb to your enterprse application project , go to your enterprise application project, right click , click on add modules , here it will ask you the name of your ejb project.

most of the times the above exception gets invoked if there is something wrong with ejb project

    hope it helps,

    regards,
