WWI Installation

Hi experts,

I want to install the WWI in a generation server.

I know that I have to install firstly the WWI, but I cannot do it. I read in the IMG activity 'Set Up WWI' ...

" You will find the installation program for all WWI installation types on

the current SAP Server Components CD. Execute the program and follow the

instructions given."

But, I don't know what they mean with 'SAP Server Components CD'.

I've read how to do that , but I'm blocked in the first step 'WWI Installation'.

please check your inbox docs sent, yes you can check the Installation and the connection in TAs SM59 > TCP/IP Connection > WWI name which you have mentioned

If you have that exe file, you can publish it at Wiki are, and provide link to this thread, & this way you will have points alos from both sides, wiki and this thread.

Hello,

You can get the latest version of WWI from [http://service.sap.com/patches] - search for 'WWI'.

(Details can be found in SAP note 568302)

Please take a look at SAP Note 1096697 as well.

The attached PDF in that note describes the WWI installation in Chapter 6.

Current SP for WWI is 17.
