Hi ,
I have a planning Cube with char A, B , C and A_B (Navigation attribute).
Aggregation Level has A, C & A_B. Have a char relationship (without derivation) to generate valid combinations of A & C.
Now, in Bex Query i have A, C in rows with setting "Access Type for Result values" as characteristic relationship. This generates valid combinations. But when i pull in char A_B as free char, it throws an error "No Combinations could be generated".
Does anyone have pointers as to why this happening when i pull in Nav Attribute in my Bex Query.
Hi Divya,
the system also uses a system generated relation based on A, A__B and thus it may happen that the combinations from your relations based on A, C have to combined (inner-join) with the combinations from the system relation. This may result in a message 'No Combinations could be generated'. Check the master data values of A and attribute values B and maybe the restrictions you have in the query.
Regards,
Gregor

Hello
I have seen exactly this error, in our case it was a bug related to BW PAK characteristic combinations, in addition to that after further analysis I got in dump traces: RSPLS_CR 011. Support package was delivered.
