Hi,

Need some help with this issue. We are very close to go live and you help is much appreciate it.

We are currently on BI 4.2 SP3 and Oracle 12c

Issue:

Right click on WEBI report click on schedule. Click on Formats.

Not able to: select document output Format.

I am scheduling a simple report. All available option works but Formats.

When click on Formats I get the following error message:

This error occurred: "Failed. Please check the logs or contact your sap business objects administrator" />

I set Server logs to high for CMS Server, Job Server, and Webi Server noting prints to logs when I get this error message (Unfortunately).

Thanks in Adv.

Hi,

Check the Everyone or your Group security settings on objects. It may be View only.

Thanks,

Jothi

Did it ever worked ?
You should run E2E trace and see what it says (webapplogs, cms logs, processing server logs) the KBA 1861180 explains how to collect and the how to review the collected logs.

Thank you Denis and Jothi,

Yes, It worked... the issue was in Security Everyone group.

Usually I set the TraceLog Service to High on a server level ... Is E2E trace is same as TraceLog?

Thanks,
