Same business system - multiple scenarios

If I wanted to use the same business system (without party) in multiple configuration scenarios, how would I go about doing that? I have an ECC system that I assigned to one scenario already, and I would like to assign that business system in a second scenario as well.

Perhaps I am mis-understanding the idea behind this, how do I go about integrating more than one system with my ECC business system?

HI Harrison,

You can use same business system in more than one scenario. Once you have used any business system in any scenario then it wouldn't be visible in Assign Business System list that come after right click on Business System under service without party.

To reuse the business system go to Object tab. There are three tabs on the top of ID: Scenario, Object, Change List. Under Object expand Servicer Without Party and then expand Business System. Now you will see all the business used in any scenario. Right click on the Business System that you want to resue and select Add to Scenario. Now you have list of all configuration scenario. Check in which scenario you want to add the business system and then click on the Add button on the bottom left.

After these steps you will find the already used business system in another scenario. You can use same process for again using the same business system.

HI,

Yes correct as explained by Subhash ranjan, you can assign the BS to your scenarios from Objects tab in ID.

you can resuse the same buiness system which is one of best method in XI development and moreover you cant have more than one business system for ECC for same client.

i m not sure whether XI will let u use the same business system name in two different scenarios but one thing u can do is,have two different business names for the same technical system,that way u will be able to integrate the system with ECC
