Retrieving user login information

My company currently restricts what remote systems to our databases (ASE/IQ/ORACLE/MySQL, etc) via ip address of the client in addition to normal login restrictions. This allows us to prevent a user/app from accessing our systems from unsecured/authorized client hardware (users desktops for example). We have a trigger that fires on login and then compares the user's login name and ip to our authorization table. From there it either allows connection (authorized) or kills the connection and logs the attempt.

I have found a system view called M_CONNECTIONS that has all of the connections to the HANA system. But what I would really like is a way of finding the client ip and name at login and then trigger the authorization check.

Is there a way or a view that captures the Client IP and User Login at login? As opposed to querying the M_CONNECTIONS view everytime it gets a new row?
