BW BEX - BO OLAP Report error

Hi,

I have created BO OLAP report (Analysis Edition for OLAP) on top of SAP BW Bex query. It was running fine but now suddenly started giving below error. It seems that I am getting output of report but I get this error message in pop up and I can also see no fields are getting fetched in "Data" section on left hand side. We are on SAP BO 4.0 SP7 and SAP BI 7.3 SP16. There are no customer exit variables used in Bex query. This query runs perfectly fine in RSRT and gives output without any error message.

Error message -

cube.get.dimension.info.runtime.error : com.sap.ip.bi.base.application.exceptions.AbortMessageRuntimeException: Termination message sent
ABEND RSBOLAP (000): Program error in class SAPMSSY1 method : UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
MSGV1: SAPMSSY1
MSGV3: UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION

Hi Abhijit,

It looks like an error is thrown by BW when processing query, but there is not enough details to tell what is going on.

One step you could do is to record a RSTT trace in BW, by executing same scenario in Analysis workspace. Then you can try to re-execute RSTT trace and see if there is an error generated too. If that's the case you may find more details from there or else involve your BW administrator to investigate.

If there is no answer like that, you should create a ticket with SAP Support, and they will help you investigate both Analysis edition for OLAP and BW to determine root cause and find a solution.
